Such a lens would not be able to focus on close subjects like selfies with Sasha or in the bedroom with Catherine. Never read the book, so the series should be judged on its own.
Clearly ready to “screw”
The series is too long, too drawn out. It was exciting and mysterious for the first few episodes, but by episode five I was like, “Oh my god, just end it.” Catherine’s silence/constant interruption as she tries to tell her side just seems like a plot device to keep the story going.
It’s literally porn
Constant, detailed sex scenes are just bad. I don’t mind sex scenes, but if "in detail" ten minutes of sex scenes, my first choice would not be Apple TV+.
