Somewhere between Tehran and Winnipeg, in a mystical and surreal interlude, the lives of multiple characters intertwine in surprising and mysterious ways. High school students Negin and Nazgol find a stash of money frozen in winter ice and try to claim it. Meanwhile, Massoud leads an increasingly bewildered group of tourists through Winnipeg’s monuments and historic sites. Mathieu quits his meaningless job in a Quebecois government office and embarks on a mysterious journey to visit his mother. Space, time and personal identities intersect, intertwine, echoing in a surreal comedy of misdirection.
