Narrative

After a family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. The special effects were amazing

It’s really unfortunate

The acting was good. But there were SO many stories. And none of them had enough time to fully develop. Any of the storylines could have been the focus of the entire movie. Every plot line was rushed and ended so quickly.

It didn’t add anything to the film

And they focused too much on Lydia’s father. Honestly, they didn’t even have to deal with the fact that he wasn’t in the movie. The actor is a sex offender in real life, so why discuss his character at all? There are also a lot of ghosts from Part 1 that I felt should be in this sequel – just use make-up and special effects like Beetlejuice. Or rework them if you don’t want them to show they’ve aged.

It was boring

Besides, I almost passed out during the first hour. The movie was only good at two o’clock.
